True Direction Counseling

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor committed to providing high quality mental health services for you or your loved ones. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults while providing support to parents as well. I have worked in inpatient and day treatment programs specializing in, but not limited to, depression, suicidal ideation/self-harm, social anxiety, generalized anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). I take an individualized approach with all clients, however, primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and exposure and ritual prevention (ERP). I am committed to helping people learn how to take control of their fears or anxieties, embrace change, and navigate emotions and transitions in healthy ways. I value inclusion of family in the therapy process by offering psychoeducation and coaching for parents as well. I am in network with Aetna, Cigna, and Anthem BCBS. I can provide a superbill for my out-of-network clients to help with reimbursement. For private pay clients, payment will be due at the time of the session. I can accept credit card or FSA/HSA as a form of payment. Private pay allows the client to not require a DSM diagnosis and insurance cannot dictate how many sessions are allowed.
